For anyone involved in the theatre, entertainment, or other presentation industries, attendance at the annual LDI convention is an excellent way to see and learn about the latest entertainment technologies. The latest in lighting, sound, rigging, projection, special effects, and much more is on display for you to see, touch, and talk about.
The convention runs from October 20 through 26. Earlier in the week, LDI holds its “Institute” with classes in Lighting Console Training (such as GrandMA, ETC Eos, and Strand’s LightPalette), Software Training (such as LD Asssistant and VectorWorks), Electrical and Rigging Training, Audio Training, and even training at specific sites such as Cirque de Soleil’s Mystere and KA theatres as well as a tech day at Le Reve & Lake of Dreams.
You can personalize your classes to fit your interest at various package costs.
For those that just want to see the latest in entertainment technologies and meet the manufacturers, the Exhibit Hall is open October 24 through October 26.
We recommend this convention for all people involved in entertainment technologies as well as worship facility folks.
