Overview

As a part of renovations and additions to the Jackson Technology Center, the College Green has been added where the Student Union once stood. The College Green serves as a place for outdoor performances and other campus gatherings. Encore Design Group provided consultation and design services for the outdoor stage as well as infrastructure for stage lighting system, lighting towers, and sound system.

Sytems Infrastructure

Infrastructure was provided for performance lighting and sound. Solid piers were located for temporary lighting towers. Underground pathways and cabling was provided for the lighting and sound systems. A solid pad was located at the rear of the green for system control equipment. With these systems in place, the college green can act as a viable outdoor amphitheatre for the school.
