Design Charge
The Architect and Owner desired a open feeling type architecture will soaring exposed roof trusses and plenty of exterior windows. Encore Design Group provided space planning services as they related to the room's technical systems, stage lighting systems, sound systems, and video projection systems. The sound system boasts a 40 channel mixing console and compact line-array left and right loudspeaker clusters. Subwoofers are located under the stage and project sound through open air stairs that access the front of the stage. Choir microphones were installed from the trusses above and a suspended microphone was provided for the baptismal pool. The lighting system utilizes cutting edge IGBT style dimming technology. Front lighting is located at selected roof trusses and side lighting pockets are provided for additional lighting angles. Full DMX control allows the use of most modern lighting and stage equipment including the future use of moving lights. The video projection system is comprised of two video projectors that project onto specific areas of the walls above the wood paneling.
